McAfee has launched new security suites especially designed for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The solution offers a simple, flexible and cost-effective way to safeguard both their data and devices. The SMBs can use the McAfee Small Business Security suite for up to 25 devices. On the other hand large businesses can take it up to 250 devices. The McAfee Endpoint Protection Essential for SMB and McAfee Endpoint Protection Advanced for SMB are made to protect devices and data while offering new cloud capabilities for additional management options.
These security suites from the company will enable the business to improve user productivity, while providing protection against malware and exploits. Talking about the new security suites, Candace Worley, senior vice president and general manager of Endpoint Security at McAfee, part of Intel Security, said “Nearly every day we hear about data breaches affecting some of the world’s largest and well-known brands. What often gets overlooked are the small Main Street businesses that are plagued with the same security issues, but often with far more devastating consequences.”
The small business suite from McAfee provides customised protection for PCs, Macs as well as Android smartphones and tablets from viruses, malware and online threats. On the other hand, for large enterprises, McAfee Endpoint Protection Essential for SMB and McAfee Endpoint Protection Advanced for SMB utilize new, next generation endpoint protection technologies to secure desktops, laptops, Macs, servers and mobile devices with superior protection over endpoint, web and email. The McAfee Endpoint Protection Essential for SMB provides traditional defenses such as endpoint, firewall and web protection, helping shield business data from cybercriminals.
