MediaTek Releases AI-Enabled MT9602 Chip

MediaTek has officially unveiled the high-performance Smart TV SoC MT9602 with comprehensive features enabling modern 4K HDR displays. The new SoC is designed to deliver real-time video optimization with improved picture and audio quality, supported by MediaTek AI-PQ (picture quality) and AI-AQ (audio quality), along with HDMI 2.1a support, global HDR, and AV1 & AVS2 decoders.

MediatekFlipkart, through its strategic partnership with Motorola, will be launching the brand’s new range of Smart TVs in Ultra HD and HD/Full HD resolutions powered by MediaTek MT9602, on 9th October in India.

MediaTek and Flipkart have had a fruitful association in the Indian market since the launch of Motorola’s first smart TV, powered by MediaTek MT5660 chip, last year. With the new MT9602, MediaTek now enables enhanced AI capabilities, superb streaming, and great entertainment in the upcoming range of Motorola Smart TVs, which will be India’s first smart TVs to be powered by Android 10.
