Microsoft and Ploycom announce video conferencing solutions for SMBs
Microsoft has announced the expansion of its relationship with Polycom in order to provide new series of video collaboration solutions for the businesses named as the Plycom RoundTable. The solution is affordable and easy to use at the same time and enables the small to midsized businesses (SMB) and teams with Skype for Business and Microsoft Lync 2013.
Talking about the solution, Peter Leav, Polycom President and CEO, said, “Our partnership with Microsoft has never been stronger, and over the years, it has fortified a market demand for collaboration experiences that help make our customers successful.”
The Polycom RoundTable will take few minutes to set up and will also not require corporate domains or on-premises infrastructure. Both the companies has also announced Polycom CX series of video collaboration solutions which incorporates CX8000 room system, CX5100 and CX5500 unified conferencing systems, which will become the part of Polycom RoundTable series of solutions.
Microsoft and Ploycom have been working together for more than a decade. Polycom has created the broadest portfolio of voice, video and content collaboration solutions that integrate with and are qualified by Microsoft.
