Microsoft Office 365 helped Electrosteel to reduce IT costs by 50 percent

Electrosteel the pipeline solution provider announced that with the deployment of Microsoft Office 365 it has reduced its IT cost by 50 percent and has also improved the collaboration amongst its workforce. This cloud based solution from the house of Microsoft, which incorporates Lync Online, One Drive, and Exchange Online has enabled the employees to collaborate in a secure environment.

Speaking about the deployment, Saradindu Paul, Associate VP, Electrosteel Group and Electrosteel Castings Limited said, “We have seen significant benefits of adopting Microsoft cloud with Office 365.  The comprehensive line-up of SKUs of Office 365 has helped us choose the right mix of services for various types of workforce in our company.  It has also helped the IT teams to offer higher value services to business while routine jobs are taken care of through the cloud.  We will soon be adopting Yammer and Power BI.”

On the other hand, Alok Lall, Director – Microsoft Office Division, Microsoft India stated, “Electrosteel has adopted comprehensive cloud-based productivity solutions with Office 365. They are among millions of customers globally who use our cloud solutions. We are delighted to see Electrosteel’s IT team can now focus on higher value work by effectively leveraging the cloud.”

The Microsoft Office 365 has facilitated Electrosteel to simplify its IT operations and focus on company’s core business, while their IT runs from Microsoft’s secure cloud datacenters. It has also enabled the company to formulate a roadmap in order to adopt higher end cloud services like BI and analytics in the near future.
