Mouser Electronics has signed a global distribution agreement with Lime Microsystems.
Lime’s technology has been adopted by organizations around the world for a wide range of applications, from consumer communications equipment such as radio access networks to software-defined radio devices for military and emergency services.
Through the agreement, Mouser now stocks the Lime LMS7002M field programmable RF (FPRF) transceiver IC. The fully integrated, multiband, multi-standard RF device contains dual transceivers that cover the frequency range 0.1 to 3800 MHz. The fully programmable, low-power chip can run on any mobile communications and wireless standard, including 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks, as well as Wi-Fi and many commercial and military bands.
The device’s dual transceivers are ideal for implementing Multiple-In, Multiple-Out (MIMO) systems with a digital bandwidth up to 60 MHz in each channel. The LMS7002M includes user-programmable digital blocks that provide key DSP functions, including general-purpose filters, direct digital frequency synthesizers (DDS), receive signal strength indicator (RSSI), and decimation and interpolation filters, together with an 8051 microcontroller for execution of advanced calibration algorithms to improve performance and enable lower power consumption.
The Lime LMS7002M is ideal for a broad range of applications, including small-cell communication equipment, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, machine-to-machine (M2M) networks, broadband wireless, and test and measurement equipment.
