Mouser-Sponsored Vaillante Rebellion Car Secures Heart-Throbbing Second Position at Nürburgring

Mouser Electronics proudly partnered with valued supplier LEMO to sponsor Vaillante Rebellion for the entire 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship season.

Mouser-sponsored Vaillante Rebellion No. 31 car secured the second place in LMP2 class.  Mouser Electronics congratulated the co team of Filipe Albuquerque, Bruno Senna and Julien Canal for its extravagant performance.

“Vaillante Rebellion is exceptional this season! This weekend, both cars came off the line strong and attacked the field throughout the race,” said Todd McAtee, Mouser’s Vice President of Americas Business Development. “We are proud of the team and look forward to seeing them on the course in Mexico City.”

In its official release, Mouser noted that racing is all about speed and endurance, and racing sponsorships are an innovative way for Mouser to communicate its performance-driven business model and promote the newest technologies from its manufacturer partners.

The Mouser-sponsored Vaillante Rebellion No. 31 car, piloted by Filipe Albuquerque, Bruno Senna and Julien Canal, led the pack in the first hour and bravely fought off the No. 36 car to secure a second place win in the LMP2 class.

Vaillante Rebellion’s No. 13 car, driven by Pipo Derani, Mathias Beche and David Heinemeier Hansson, followed closely to place fourth in the class.

The Mouser-backed Rebellion team ran away with the crown in the LMP1 Privateer Class last year, and with a new class comes new challenges.

Next, the series travels to Mexico City on September 3; Fuji, Japan, on October 15; and Shanghai on November 5. The 2017 season ends in Sakhir, Bahrain, on November 18.
