What brings every year Anritsu to MWC22 – Key highlights that you can share with our readers?

Anritsu has been a front player in telecom test and measurement solutions. We work very closely with the telecom ecosystem and provides our test solution which helps many OEM, R&D companies to launch new products- services well in time and reduce time to market. So MWC is the right platform to showcase our test and measurement solution to the world and work with partners for sustainable growth.

This year’s MWC theme was “Beyond Testing, Beyond Limits for a sustainable Future Together”

Anritsu’s focus is on creating a sustainable future while catering to innovative solutions catering to evolving technologies and newer Industry verticals.

Anritsu is contributing to this journey by producing innovative solutions to enable the eco-systems that are either developing or using the technologies and accelerating the realization of new products and services for Industry Verticals. So, we are working on new 5G use cases and future technology 6G R&D.

Can you elaborate on how Anritsu is determining Technologies and Measurements Beyond 5G?

5G deployment is in full swing across many parts of the globe and some regions are yet to see 5G commercial deployment but the telecom industry has already started working on Beyond 5G!!

Anritsu is participating in multiple projects and consortia to help define and shape future telecoms technologies and related measurement requirements.

Key technology collaborations and partnerships you want to highlight which was fostered during the MWC22?

As mentioned, Anritsu works very closely with technology leaders to contribute to the design, development of future technology, new use cases and much more. Anritsu had partnered with dSPace, Interdigital, Toyo Corporation, Oroliya, Spirent, Fujitsu, Compass, Keycom & Swissto12 during MWC 22.

We demonstrated a 5G Network Slicing use case for Automotive V2X with dSPACE— In this demonstration we focused on Advanced Intersection Collision Warning (AICW) showing how sensor information from outside the vehicle can be obtained, allowing the vehicle to detect the risk of an intersection collision and alert the driver accordingly.

While with InterDigital, we showcased the Smart Factory use case. In this section, we demonstrated 5G Network Slicing & MEC (A high-level overview of the concepts of 5G network slicing and multi-access edge computing). This demonstration was achieved with Anritsu Rapid Test Designer (RTD) and MT8000A Radio Communication Test Station simulating a Standalone (SA) mode 5G NR network and InterDigital’s Intelligent Edge solution for smart factories.

How was the response from MWC 22 and did Anritsu during the virtual event meet the relevant footfall?

We saw a good response during MWC2022. MWC22 gave the opportunity to meet industry leaders after the pandemic and see new technologies for future sustainable growth. MWC22 was a successful program.
