Naresh Gupta to resign as MD Adobe

Naresh Gupta the MD at Adobe India has revealed it decision of leaving the company after the association of nineteen years in order to start his own venture.  He will bid adieu to the company by end of March this year. The company has yet to announce the successor of Gupta.

Speaking about the resignation of Gupta, Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen said, “Naresh Gupta has played a key role in shaping Adobe’s technology and global business strategy and has built a world-class R&D operation in India.”

On leaving the company, Gupta commented, “Leaving Adobe has been the toughest decision of my life; the company is growing and is going through the strongest period I’ve seen in my career here. However, I am excited to pursue my passion for entrepreneurship in financial markets.”

Gupta joined the Adobe family in 1996 and founded Adobe’s R&D operation in India in 1997 originally in Noida. Under his supervision the R&D operation, he has led Adobe’s Print and Publishing business unit, overseeing product marketing and development for Adobe’s print, Web publishing and eLearning tools such as Adobe eLearning Suite and Adobe Technical Communication Suite software.
