Dell has announced that it has successfully deployed the Dell PowerEdge Servers for National Commodities & Derivatives Exchange Ltd. (NCDEX). With the help of Dell servers the organisation was able to enhance performance, reduce power consumption and minimise downtime. The installation of end to end solution comprises of 2 Blade Chassis with 32 M620s blades, 5 PowerEdge R815 servers, 4 PowerEdge R720 servers, Networking Boq- 12 S4810 Switches TOR and 8 MXL Blade switches provided by Dell.
Speaking about the deployment, Anand Iyer, CIO- National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX), said, “In a domain such as ours, data growth is prominent and wide-spread. Dell’s solutions enabled NCDEX to improve the overall performance of their datacentre by 3 times, along with 30 % reduction in power consumption.
