NetApp Ups the Ante on World-Class Bangalorean R&D Facility


BANGALORE: NetApp on Thursday kick started the whole kit and caboodle on a world-class research and development (R&D) facility here at Mahadevapura.

The approximately one million square foot facility will deliver topnotch working, followed by group effort, and recreational spaces to nurture an environ of ensuing novelty and cross-functional alliance. Unswerving and buttressed with NetApp facilities about the world, the new-fangled research and development center will surpass arduous global, ecological and safety criterions. Spread in excess of 15 acres, the fresh facility will embrace a highly effectual, 25,000 square foot data center to upkeep global development and business maneuvers. The facility is slated for completion in late fiscal 2015.

Volumnising further that- “To enable increasingly multidisciplinary and collaborative work, we want to have all our teams under one roof, which will enable the free flow and cross-pollination of ideas that have been hallmarks of the NetApp culture. NetApp has long been committed to the Indian market and APAC as a whole, and today’s ground breaking signals the exciting start of our next phase of growth here.”

This expansion is an upshot of a word NetApp made to the Karnataka administration by dint of ratifying a memorandum of understanding standing for the acronym MOU at the Global Investors Meeting in 2012.
