Allied Telesis announce the creation of Allied Telesis Wireless

Allied Telesis has announced the creation of Allied Telesis Wireless, a new division of the Allied Telesis Group. This new wing is created to improve the leading networking manufacturer’s existing converged wired and wireless solutions portfolio. Along with this, the new division also comprises of Extricom team and the assets acquired:  intellectual property, advanced technologies, product portfolio, and its established customer base.

Speaking about the new wing of the company, Seiichiro Sato, Allied Telesis Director of Global Product Marketing, commented, “The formation of Allied Telesis Wireless, and the launch of the Extricom product line, will allow Allied Telesis to offer an unmatched, complete portfolio of wireless and wired LAN solutions to our customers.  This important development marks our on-going commitment to broadening our access portfolio by enhancing it with a strong wireless access offering, solidifying Allied Telesis leadership in the wireline networking infrastructure sector.”

The Extricom Channel Blanket will improve the Allied Telesis wireless infrastructure solutions with wire-like reliability, high throughput, seamless mobility, unparalleled noise immunity, and easier installation and maintenance than market alternatives.
