Federation of Indian IT Association (FAIITA) in a two day meeting hosted by the Maharashtra IT association-FITAM scheduled on June 27 in Mumbai likely discuss the issues related to the IT industry, ways to represent IT industry with state and national Govt, Make in India policy and creation of Association’s portal.
Champak Raj Gurjar, Association president to Channel Times said “we are expecting all IT association presidents and secretaries to participate in the meeting hosted by the Maharashtra IT association-FITAM. We will discuss the ways of representing the IT industry with the national and state government bodies. We will also discuss the ‘Make in India’ policy and there will also be discussions on the creation of FAIITA portal.” He further added “This is the first meeting after the new team assumed office. We want to create awareness about the association and ensure that the government in the state and central level understands that this is the only representation of the IT hardware and SI industry.”
Representatives from 12 leading vendor companies will be participating in the meeting; FAIITA is also planning to associate with the Taipei Computer Association.
