Huawei has recently concluded its thriving “Huawei Cloud Congress 2016” held in Mumbai. Kicked-off under the theme of “Make IT Simple, Make Business Agile”; the Cloud Congress primarily focused on “Transforming with Cloud”. Congregating over 200+ attendees, including industry experts and opinion leaders from Reliance, TATA, Vodafone, Idea discussed the latest trends in the cloud technology.
Apart from vivid discussion on cloud technology and its potential, the Chinese networking major also highlighted its latest offerings in cloud solutions and showcased how its products like the Fusion resource pool and high end storage servers can enable cloud networks for the enhanced functioning of modern applications like 4K televisions, video on demand and user created applications. The benefits of the cloud interface on fields like Healthcare, SME’s and Traditional Telecom & IT organizations were also discussed at length.

Entered into the cloud computing market for more than half-decade now, Huawei is reported to be in communication with more than 400 carriers worldwide, and is well aware of the pain points and issues in their road to digital transformation. At HCC India, Huawei shared its Strategy for Digital Transformation and how cloud is enabling this digital transformation for carriers across the globe. It also shared what can be considered for operators in India Market and how they can transform their services with Cloud. Huawei had deployed more than 1.4 million VMs in 108 countries and regions, serving over 2500 customers in the government and public sector in addition to telecom, energy, finance, and other industries. By the end of December 2015, Huawei had established 660 data centers around the world, including 255 cloud data centers.
Huawei IT & Cloud Solutions helped Huawei see remarkable improvements in the Gartner Magic Quadrant rankings and enabled Huawei to become one of the world’s leading IT providers. HCC India this year was divided into two parts; “Starting digital transformation”, “Diving into solutions and best practices of digital transformation”.
Huawei was also been added to the Gartner Magic Quadrant for x86 Server Virtualization Infrastructure thanks to its FusionSphere cloud OS, and was included in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Integrated Systems with the FusionCube hyper-converged infrastructure as well.
