Huawei SEA Core Partner Convention Pins Growing Partner Ecosystem

Huawei India, in the fourth edition of the SEA ‘Core Partner Convention 2016’ reiterated its commitment and focus towards partners through its various initiatives and programs. The Chinese networking giant aimed to educate its growing partners with its Quality first  strategy  and commitment towards business excellence and faster delivery. Huawei Delivery & Services business group is claimed to cover a huge work force of key partners with over 1400 teams across India.

Amidst the convention, the company claims to have congregated over 300 delegates comprising of partner’s management from across key centers in India as well as Sri Lanka attended the Summit’s keynotes to understand Huawei’s stance on Transparency, Quality, and new initiatives.

Sharing insights on the occasion, Jay Chen, CEO Huawei India said “Our aim is to create a simple, clear engagement and support structure, through a multi partner management organization. The SEA core partner convention enables us to offer a more collaborative and stable partnership which will be mutually beneficial for Huawei and our esteemed partners. Our Partner programs have been developed to enable business owners to grow their business; helping them to meet their customers’ needs by leveraging our portfolio.”

Huawei India also announced initiatives for promoting its main stream suppliers in order to ensure Quality, EHS compliance and timely delivery. The Integrated Service Delivery Program (ISDP), a new platform for Huawei India’s partners serves as an end to end solution for partners to record their progress and apply resources more efficiently. The ISDP tool is application driven and provides cloud driven easy inventory management which leads to lower operating costs while facilitating ease of access.

Huawei also strives to educate their partners in global industry standards to digitize Indian telecom industry through the ‘India Partner Competency Training’ and the ‘EHS Competency Development’ programs, which are aimed at providing free training to all partner employees  at Huawei India’s domestic world class training labs and at demo sites.

Huawei utilized the conference as a platform to showcase Customer and Partner experiences to further reiterate efforts that Huawei puts to strengthen its partner ecosystem. Huawei also felicitated its partners with gold and silver awards under ‘Delivery Excellence’, ‘Best Compliance on EHS & Quality’ and ‘Emerging Partners’ categories. As a unique initiative, Huawei also recognized individual on-field heroes and awarded them with certificates of appreciation along with Honor 6 smartphones at the convention.
