Sterlite Technologies to Flaunt its Networking Portfolio at Smart Cities India Expo 2016

Sterlite Technologies announces that it will display its end-to-end products, services & software at the 2nd India Smart City Expo 2016, Pragati Maidan, from May 11-13, 2016.

For the three-day exhibition, the home grown smart city solution enabler has lined-up its next-gen offerings including – the Sterlite Smart City Solution Suite – an end-to-end approach for fast and future-proof network rollout, with seamless System Integration with best in class global OEMs. Customised for specific requirements of urban and rural bodies for area-based development and pan-city initiatives, the solution is touted a unique offering that features complete program management, project execution and network integration from infrastructure management to network applications.

Citing on the opportunity that the expo presents, Dr. Anand Agarwal, CEO, Sterlite Technologies said, “Urban areas will house 40% of India’s population and contribute 75% of India’s GDP by 2030. This requires a comprehensive development of delivery of basic utilities such as electricity, water, sewage, gas, traffic, clean air using communication based solutions as the enabler.”

Sterlite will also host live demos through key OEM partners on disaster management, smart lighting, smart surveillance, Wi-Fi, smart grid, energy management, smart homes, water and waste management. Sterlite’s booth will also offer free e-healthcare consultations through its partner eClinic247 during the three-day event.

During the inaugural session on May 11th, Dr. Anand Agarwal will share his views on building a right policy framework and integrated technology ecosystem, in the panel discussion on “Smart Cities in India: Policy and regulatory environment”.

On the heels, Deepak Sharma, Head of Network Solutions, Sterlite Technologies will also represent the company in the second panel discussion on “Infrastructure and ICT providers need to collaborate to build smart cities,” the same day.
