New Call Telecom to focus on SMBs and MSMEs

New Call Telecom after its acquisition of Nimbuzz has announced the launch of a call management application called Holaa. Developed by 13 young developers, the app offers features like caller ID, black callers, smart search, enriched phonebook, activity analyzer, missed call alert and offline control.

The app is specially designed keeping in mind the needs of the Indian audiences. Along with the app also aims to provide a platform to the Indian SMBs and e-commerce industry to grow and popularize their services. Presently, it is only available for the Android users as for now the company wants to focus on the South Asia and Middle East market. The Holaa app is free of cost and is witnessing seven downloads per minute.

Speaking about the app, Nigel Eastwood, CEO, New Call Telecom said, “With Nimbuzz becoming a part of the growing New Call International family, its innovative technologies will become a key parts of our vision of an integrated ‘my digital life’ ecosystem. Nimbuzz’s significant loyal user-base allows for rapid adoption of new OTT/Apps relating to internet connectivity in India and eventually in other parts of the world. The Nimbuzz product roadmap fully embraces the Digital India initiative of the government.”

Apart from the app, New Call Telecom also announced that the company will be looking forward to acquiring the business broadband space in the country. The company feels that often small and medium enterprises are neglected as the telecom operators’ focus on the bigger players in the market. The company will address this market and will provide the connectivity options to SMBs, MSMEs, and SOHOs.
