Nordic Thingy:91 X Simplifies Cellular IoT and Wi-Fi Prototyping
Nordic Semiconductor has introduced the Nordic Thingy:91 X, its newest IoT prototype platform, for Wi-Fi SSID locationing, LTE-M, NB-IoT, DECT NR+, and GNSS applications. With its extensive range of onboard capabilities that expedite the development of cellular IoT applications and reduce time-to-market, the Thingy:91 X makes it easier for developers to prototype IoT apps.
The Thingy:91 X is a battery-powered gadget that makes use of Nordic’s recently released, acclaimed nRF9151 System-in-Package (SiP). The Thingy:91 X has several sensors to track movement and keep an eye on the surroundings. It also has several antennas and LEDs and buttons that may be programmed by the user.
