NxtGen deploys Fortinet’s enterprise cloud and datacentre services

Fortinet one of the high performance network security provider has revealed that NextGen has deployed it datacentre and enterprise cloud services. NxtGen has selected the services of Fortinet as they are efficient in performance and single pane management and comes with single per-box licensing model. The motto of NxtGen is to make the businesses grow by cutting down complexity and saving on the IT infrastructure cost. The cloud service of the company called as the Enterprise Cloud Services provides private, public and hybrid cloud infrastructure hosted on OPDC or HDDC.

The services provided by Fortinet will allow NxtGen to deliver customizable cloud security services which in turn will provide flexibility to the consumers and also allows them set up the firewall of their choice. The cloud service also accommodates gateway level advance threat protection with traffic scanning and reporting.

A S Rajgopal, CEO of NxtGen says, “We were looking for a network security vendor who could quickly and effectively help us start up a Managed Security Services business. Fortinet has enabled us to meet many of our customers’ needs with their high performing yet easy to manage solutions. Their simplified per box licensing also makes a lot of financial sense to managed security services providers.”

The services of Fortinet will help NxtGen in creating virtualised security architecture for its host servers. The datacenters will have advanced threat protection by activating security features like IPS, application control, VPN, WAN optimization and user authentication.

NxtGen has also opted for Fortinet’s FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer services. These services will create and configure firewalls and will also enable policy based provisioning, update management and end-to-end network monitoring. With all these services in place NxtGen will have complete control over its security services. Moreover, the service provider will also be able to expand its range of managed services by providing access to remote employees and hosting secured private clouds. All these services will provide an edge to NxtGen as compared to the others present in the market.
