Pegasystems Recognised for Digital Business by Research Firm
Pegasystems Inc announces that Forrester Research has named Pegasystems a leader in the new The Forrester Wave report evaluating Business Process Management (BPM) platforms for digital business. Forrester ranked the Pega 7 application platform with the highest score in “current offering” and “strategy,” which are two of the three main categories evaluated by the firm.
According to the report, The Forrester Wave: BPM Platforms For Digital Business, Q4 2015, Forrester evaluated Pegasystems and 11 other BPM platform vendors across 31 criteria. In addition to the highest scores in the current offering and strategy categories, Pegasystems was also the highest ranked vendor in mobile engagement and contextual guidance. Pegasystems tied for the top score in 13 other categories, including collaborative modelling, smart forms and user experience, process and flow design, dynamic case management, decision management, reporting and analytics, digital workplace, guiderails and governance, life-cycle management, user interface integration, product strategy, smart process apps, and BPM revenue.
Forrester observed the following on the rapidly evolving market: “The new requirements of digital transformation are forcing a major change in how companies evaluate and deploy BPM platforms and service.” According to the report, the firm selected vendors for evaluation that demonstrated “breadth of support for digital business requirements,” “strong go-to market strategies and thought leadership,” “proven customer adoption across different geographies and verticals,” as well as “interest from Forrester clients.”
Forrester also recently ranked the Pega platform among the leaders in The Forrester Wave: Real-Time Interaction Management, Q3 2015 report. The Pega platform was the only software product to be included in both reports. This follows a string of additional analyst reports where Pegasystems was evaluated as a BPM leader, including Gartner’s Magic Quadrant on BPM-Platform-Based Case Management Frameworks and Gartner’s 2015 Magic Quadrant for Intelligent Business Process Management Suites. Pegasystems also recently received the highest scores in Gartner’s 2015 Critical Capabilities for BPM-Platform-Based Case Management Frameworks.
