Polycom appoints Shirish Joshi as the sales director for APAC region

Polycom has announced the appointment of Shirish Joshi as the sales director for the APAC region. He will be looking after the channel programs across the region and will be driving business for Polycom partners. Along with this, he will also be establishing go-to-market and distribution strategy.

Speaking about the appointment, Geoff Thomas, President, Polycom Asia Pacific, said, “As a company at the forefront of technology innovation, building a world-class channel is a key priority for Polycom.”

Prior to joining Polycom he was associated with Citrix Systems as the Channels and Alliances Director for the ASEAN region. There he was responsible for building and managing the partner ecosystem for various business areas such as enterprise mobility,cloud services, and desktop & application virtualisation.
