Prasad Thrikutam to embark on odyssey as President and Global Head of Application Services for Dell

Dell Services from its barrio has announced the appointment of Prasad Thrikutam as president and global head, Application Services.

Thrikutam, a 22-year industry veteran who comes on – board Dell from Infosys, will coxswain a global team of almost 10,000 employees in charge for driving Dell’s Application Services business across all vertical industry segments.

He will report to Suresh Vaswani, president of Dell Services, and will be based at Dell Services’ headquarters in Plano.

Mr. Thrikutam had formerly spent 18 efficacious years in multiple executive leadership roles at Infosys. He was previously head of Infosys Americas and the global head for the $1.4 billion Energy, Utilities, Telecom and Services business unit. Prior to this appointment, he was a senior member of the Infosys Executive Council and served on the boards of Infosys BPO, Infosys China and Infosys Public Services, and had also worked as the global head for Strategic Sales, Marketing and Alliances.

Following the engagement, Thrikutam embarks on this role by way of taking the mantle from Ashutosh Vaidya, who moves into a full-time position as head of Global Delivery for Dell Services. Mr. Thrikutam will be joining Dell from July 28.
