QNAP introduces new storage solution TS-x31
QNAP has rolled out a storage solution named TS-x31 series Turbo NAS for SOHO and Home users. This new solution is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A9 CPU and it delivers high performance in terms of file storage, sharing, and data backup coupled with the easy-to-use cloud-based note-taking application and a wide range of multimedia functions. The storage solution is also equipped with dual LAN ports, the TS-231 and TS-431 support dual IP settings, port-trunking modes and allows users to set up fault tolerance or link aggregation for increased data through put.
Commenting about the launch of the storage solution, Jason Hsu, Product Manager, QNAP, said, “Due to the privacy concerns of pubic cloud services, the TS-x31 is ideal for establishing a secure and large-capacity private cloud where users can store, share, and access their files anytime, anywhere.”
The TS-x31 series also offers three SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports which enables the users to flexibly arrange tasks with USB devices to increase productivity. Along with this, the users can also back up files to USB drives; access data stored on SD cards via USB card readers, and connect to a USB-based UPS to ensure a continuous power supply. Moreover, the solution is available in 1-, 2- and 4-bay models, the TS-x31 series is an easy-to-use network storage centre for backup, synchronization, remote access, and home entertainment.
