Radiant Vision Systems Unveils Near-Infrared Intensity Lens
Radiant Vision Systems Enables Fast, Accurate Radiant Intensity Measurement Solution for Evaluation of Near-Infrared Light Sources and Distributions
Measure NIR LEDs and lasers used for facial recognition and other 3D sensing applications to ensure uniform intensity and gather statistics for diffractive optical element (DOE) analysis. Mounted to a Radiant Vision Systems imager, the Near-Infrared Intensity Lens measures angular distributions to ±70°, capturing and analyzing hundreds of data points in a single image without rotating the source.
Manufacturers of three-dimensional sensing technology can apply the NIR Intensity Lens solution for angular measurement of NIR LEDs, lasers, and Diffractive Optical Elements (DOE). The lens mounts directly to a Radiant Vision Systems ProMetric Y16 Imaging Radiometer, and features ProMetric or TrueTest Software for intuitive system setup and customizable automated measurement sequences. Additional tests specific to NIR emission measurement are available.
