Radware announces integration of its security applicationsRadware the provider of security solutions for cloud data centres has announced the integration of its Alteon and DefensePro platforms into Cisco’s Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) fabric. This integration will help the IT managers to attain greater value from their Cisco ACI deployment through automated tenant-based application delivery and security services. Moreover, this integration will also help the large enterprises with faster provisioning, automation and monitoring of applications.


Talking about the integration, Nikhil Taneja, Country Manager, India-SAARC, Radware said, “Radware’s solutions have always helped customers with increased productivity by ensuring 24/7 service availability to customer’s applications & sites. Advanced features such as mitigation against emerging network attacks in real time have enabled customers to protect against attacks before it affects business operations. Integrating Radware’s platforms with Cisco’s ACI will further benefit large enterprises, hosting service providers and ISPs with faster provisioning, automation and monitoring of applications.”

Cisco’s ACI is a holistic architecture with centralized automation and policy-driven application profiles. “Cisco and Radware have a common vision of an application driven data center. We intend to offer an integrated Layer 2-7 architecture that can respond to business application needs and security requirements, dynamically,” says Mr David Aviv, Vice President of Advanced Services, Radware.
