Red Hat appoints Charlene Begley to its Board of Directors

It seems that Red Hat is working towards expanding its team as the company is appointing people one after the other for its key positions. Now the company has appointed Charlene Begley to its Board of Directors.

Speaking about the appointment, General H. Hugh Shelton, Chairman of Red Hat’s Board of Directors, said, “We are pleased to welcome Charlene Begley to our board. With her extensive business and leadership experience, she will add a valuable perspective as Red Hat continues its focus on developing innovative technologies to help enterprises leverage the power of open source to meet their IT and business needs.”

Prior to joining Red Hat she worked with General Electric Company has an executive. She is also the director and member of the audit committee of The NASDAQ OMX Group, WPP plc. and was associated with  General Electric from 1988 through December 2013.
