Red Hat collaborates with Cisco to strengthen cloud services

Red Hat the company that deals with open source solution has revealed their collaboration with Cisco and extension of their cloud services. The combination of the services of both the companies will provide solution to the customers which will allow them to attain IT efficiencies. Along with this they will also introduce next-generation enterprise computing.

Both the companies have also announced a new centre of excellence in Gurgaon, which will provide the customers and partners with an opportunity to review their cloud frameworks and experience how they can deliver cloud innovation within their organizations. Red Hat is all set to display this technology solution on Cisco platforms. The list of technologies includes OpenShift by Red Hat, Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform, and Red Hat CloudForms. All these technologies are created to serve as the foundation stone for creating OpenStack-powered clouds for advanced cloud users, such as telecommunications companies, Internet service providers (ISPs), and public cloud hosting providers.

This new data centre is officially inaugurated by Dirk-Peter van Leeuwen, senior vice president and general manager, Red Hat Asia Pacific, and Rajesh Rege, director and country head (Datacenter & Cloud Business Entity), Cisco India / SAARC.

Earlier also both the companies have partnered and have started many new initiatives. This association of both the companies have benefited them and has also fostered the growth of both the companies.
