Sabey Data Centers’ Energy and Sustainability Manager, Casey Moore will be participating on a panel at BOMA International Conference & Expo. The event will be taking place on June 25-28, 2022 in Nashville, Tennessee. Casey is responsible for maintaining sustainable operations within Sabey Data Centers facilities and helping to reach their net-zero carbon goal. She brings in over two years of experience as a consultant to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency where she enforced and ensured the integrity of ENERGY STAR products.
On Monday, June 27, at 2:45 p.m., Casey will participate on the panel “Hitting the Target: Decarbonization in Existing Buildings” alongside other industry professionals. This panel will discuss how to identify a clear pathway to decarbonize and overcome technical barriers remains a challenge that leaders in the industry are addressing head-on. Partners in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Low Carbon Pilot and Better Climate Challenge will share real-world case studies of decarbonizing existing buildings and developing a plan for emissions reduction at the portfolio level. DOE will also highlight best practices from technical experts and lessons from 50+ companies.
