Samsung launches enterprise tablet Galaxy Tab Active
The South Korean giant Samsung has launched its first B2B tablet the Galaxy Tab Active for the enterprise segment. The tablet comes with ruggedized design for the challenging business environments. The device flaunts an 8-inch display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor.
The tab comes with IP67 & certification which makes it dust and water-resistant. Along with this, it also sports an anti-shock covering, which according to Samsung can withstand a 1.2 metre drop with the protective cover on.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active offers 1.5GB of RAM it is also supported by Samsung KNOX for a defence-grade, comprehensive mobile security solution. This reinforced security desired by businesses keeps applications and data safe in a professional’s own secure space without the need for a third-party platform and extra cost. The tablet also comes equipped with a 3.1-megapixel rear camera with LED flash.
On the connectivity front, the device offers Micro USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, NFC and AllShare Cast for wireless content mirroring on any display with HDMI. The tablet will also have support for the C –Pen which a tough form of stylus and will come with one year manufacturer warranty.
