SanDisk launches new lineup of Extreme 900 portable SSD at Computex 2015

SanDisk, the company known for its storage solutions has launched Extreme 900 portable SSD with 2TB of storage space at the Computex 2015. The storage device comes in 480GB 480GB ($399.99) and 960GB ($599.99) storage options, comes cased in a compact aluminum body.

Talking about the storage solution, Dinesh Bahal, vice president, product marketing, SanDisk, said, “As a recognized leader in developing solutions for professional photographers and videographers, we designed this game-changing family of offerings to provide our customers with even greater speeds and capacities to keep up with rapidly increasing demands for high-quality content. Whether a professional or amateur, this level of portability, speed and capacity is exceptional, and we believe it will transform the way people create and produce high quality video content-ultimately saving them time and money.”

Along with this, the company has also introduced the new lineup of Extreme 500 portable SSD, which will be available in 120GB ($99.99), 240GB ($149.99), and 480GB ($239.99) storage capacities.

All these storage devices will come with the SecureAccess software of the company which delivers 128-bit AES encryption. All these storage devices will be available through SanDisk Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) and the other selected channel partners of the company.
