Seagate launches NAS storage solution for SMBs

Seagate Technology has unveiled a new product portfolio for Networked Attached Storage (NAS) solutions made for the needs of small businesses. The new portfolio of the company incorporates five NAS products in a range of capacities from 2TB to 30TB and performance perfectly suited for the home office to small businesses with up to 50 employees.

Speaking about the new product range, Ramon Ray of SmallBizTechnology, said “Storage is a must have for businesses of today regardless of their size or industry. So much of what businesses do is now stored in a digital format, but at the same time storage is an area that may not be top of mind for many small business professionals. The irony is that smart storage is so essential to their growth,” said. “It is good to see a company like Seagate taking the guess work out of network storage solutions and making it easy to set up and manage for a small business without dedicated IT staff.”

The products introduced come with intuitive user interface to help small businesses stay connected and organised. The products are well supported by Seagate, which ensures a level of expertise that is not delivered when customers are required to source individual components. Seagate NAS and NAS Pro provide secure access to files by creating a private cloud, also allowing access to files from a centralized location. Both the products are available worldwide. Seagate NAS is available for Rs 22,800 and the NAS Pro for Rs 37,150.
