Seagate Seven, Wireless portable hard drives launched in India

Seagate, a global leader in storage solutions, has launched two new portable devices namely – Seagate Seven and Seagate Wireless. Seagate Seven is being touted as the world’s slimmest 500GB portable hard drive, at just 7mm of thickness, with 100% stainless steel body.

Highlighted features of Seagate Seven:

  2. Comes in stainless steel body
  3. Offers 500GB of storage
  4. Has a USB 3.0 interface for data transfer
  5. Lightweight at just 150 grams
  6. Measures 7mm thick

While, the Seagate Wireless is also a 500GB storage device, available in variety of colours – lime green, cool blue, slate grey, fire-engine red and white. The drive emits its own WiFi signal, allowing users to transfer data wirelessly without WiFi or Bluetooth connectivity.

“Seagate has been providing the world with storage since the modern origins of computing history,” said Mark Whitby, senior vice president of Seagate Branded Group. “We believe that Seagate Seven will resonate with those who want the latest trend in mechanical design while inspiring the user to create great experiences and memories.

It’s worth mentioning that Seagate has unveiled these hard drives at the Consumer Electronics Show 2015 in Las Vegas. The Seagate Seven and Seagate Wireless are available at Reliance, Croma, Amazon, Snapdeal and all authorised Seagate partners in India at a retail price of Rs 8,990 and Rs 8,490 respectively.
