Maxim Integrated Products rolls out Arduino and ARM mbed platforms adaptable 16×16 display reference design. The MAXREFDES99# tailored for Hobbyists and makers touted to communicate many international alphanumeric characters in comparison to traditional 8×8 LED displays.
The new reference design integrates four MAX7219 LED drivers to provide designers a 16×16 display with 256 LEDs, allowing them to create signs in multiple languages.
