Servion Cherry – Picks Melbourne as its Australian headquarter

Mumbai: Minister for technology Gordon Rich-Phillips has announced in Mumbai that the Indian company Servion Global Solutions would establish its Australian headquarters in Melbourne.

“The Victorian Government has been working closely with Servion for several months to ensure that they chose Melbourne as the launching pad for its activities in Australia,” alleged Rich-Phillips.

Supplementing that – “Investment facilitation for ICT companies is a key priority for the Victorian Coalition Government, as it builds on Victoria’s positive business environment and attracts both new investment and re-investment opportunities into the State. The Victorian Coalition Government actively provides specialist advice to potential investors on development approvals, statutory approvals coordination, site location, infrastructure and utility requirements and the investment climate.”

Servion VP and region head – APAC, Abhijit Banerjee purported that, “We have been actively servicing clients in Australia for over six years. Geographical proximity to our customers will provide fillip to our efforts of adding greater value to their businesses. We are equally excited about contributing to the Victorian and Australian economy, which will be a direct result of our growth plans for the country.”

Rich-Phillips is in India as a share of the Coalition Government’s tenth Indian trade mission since December 2010. Up to the present time, more than 600 Victorian organisations have taken part in Indian missions that have lend a hand to create more than $630 million in fresh partnerships with Indian enterprises and organisations.

The missions from its quarter are being delivered as slice of a dedicated Trade Engagement Program for India – a keystone of the Victorian Government’s Victoria and India: From Engagement to Partnership strategy.
