ShoreTel Revamps Indian Focus Appoints New Country Manager

ShoreTel announces the appointment of Arun Balasubramaniam as country manager of India. With this new position, Arun will be responsible on building relationships and driving sales for ShoreTel in India. He is overseeing sales strategy from customer acquisition to retention, as well as partner recruitment and management in the region.

“I’m delighted to welcome Arun to the team as our country manager for India,” said Frederic Gillant, vice president and managing director of Asia Pacific at ShoreTel. “Arun has a wealth of knowledge and experience working with channels and partners, which will significantly contribute to our goal of expansion in a rapidly growing market. His appointment is part of a strategic plan to strengthen our investment and sales in India.”

Arun brings more than 16 years of technology industry experience having worked extensively with leading government, banking, telecommunications and information technology enterprises and channel partners throughout India and South Asia.

“I am very excited to join ShoreTel at this time when there is strong investment across the region,” said Arun Balasubramaniam. “I look forward to working with Frederic and the team to further our plans to grow customers and partners in India.”

Arun will operate from Company’s Bangalore office.
