The leading online retail giant Snapdeal has announced the appointment of Amit Choudhary as Senior Vice President Corporate Finance. The appointment is made in order to strengthen the leadership team. At Snapdeal Amit will be responsible for driving overall Controllership in Finance, FP&A and Taxation at the group level to ensure seamless implementation and integration of financial controls and policies.

Speaking about the appointment, Kunal Bahl, Co-Founder & CEO, Snapdeal said, “As we continue to grow at a rapid pace, it is important for us to build a world class finance organization. Snapdeal is a pioneer in the ecommerce industry in setting financial processes and following best practices in corporate governance. Amit brings along 15 years of experience across Corporate and Entrepreneurial domain. Prior to joining Snapdeal he was associated with Procter & Gamble (P&G) as the Regional Finance Head for the Asia Pet Care business in 14 countries including Japan, Greater China and Australia.
