Snapdeal one of the leading e-commerce portal has announced the appointment of Abhishek Kumar as the ‘Head Corporate Development’. At Snapdeal he will be responsible for looking after acquisitions, investments and deep partnerships that can lead to mergers for the e-commerce giant. Moreover, he will also work towards developing the strategies for the expansion of the company. An MBA from ISB Hyderabad he brings along 15 years of industry experience with him.

Commenting on starting his new journey, Abhishek Kumar said, “I feel fortunate to be a part of the young, energetic and dynamic team at Snapdeal. Prior to joining he has been associated with Palaash Ventures as the Head investments. There he looked after the capital investments related to consumer internet, SaaS, Ad-tech, hardware and e-commerce enablers. He has also been associated with TV18 Broadcast Ltd.
