Managing Director for BlackBerry India, Sunil Lalvani after serving for more than two year has reportedly resigned from the company.
Before leading the BlackBerry team as MD two years ago, Sunil headed BlackBerry’s enterprise business in India.
In an email response to PTI, BlackBerry spokesperson said “I can confirm Sunil Lalvani has left his position as Managing Director, BlackBerry India to explore opportunities outside of BlackBerry. We thank him for his contributions.”
As of now reason for his resignation is still unknown, however; in the interim BlackBerry Vice President, Carrier Sales and Distribution Asia Pacific, Matthew Tonkin will lead operations in India. The spokesperson added that, the firm will announce permanent replacement soon.
Sunil earlier worked with top industry players like Cisco, Nokia, SITA-Equant, and Global Telesystems.
