Amid of the visionary event of Ericsson Forum; Mehmet Kaplan, Sweden’s Hon’ble Minister for Housing, Urban Development and Information Technology is known to have couched with with Paolo Colella, Head of Region India, Ericsson to explore the Smart City programs in line with Digital India Initiative.
Elated on the meet with Hon’ble Minister and the Swedish delegation, Paolo Colella, Head of Region India, Ericsson said, “We are truly honored to welcome the Hon’ble Minister, Mr Mehmet Kaplan, H.E Mr Harald Sandberg and the Swedish delegation to the EricssonIndia office at Gurgaon. According to the release, Minister Kaplan has been a proponent of Smart Urban development anchored around the pillars of economic, ecological and social sustainability.
Speaking on his visit to the Ericsson India office, the Hon’ble Minister stated, “I understand Ericsson is very keen to partner with the Indian Government for its Digital India initiative. I think Indian and Swedish companies can develop smart and sustainable solutions together that can fit the scale and scope of the Indian requirements.”
The Hon’ble Minister is on a visit to India between October 14-18, 2015 to attend CYFY 2015 and the Sweden India Nobel Memorial Week 2015.
