Tata Communication announces resignation of its CFO
Tata Communications, the global internet solution provider has announced that its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Sanjay Baweja has resigned from the company in order to pursue further opportunities. The company said that it is looking for his replacement. As reported by PTI, Tata Communications said, “Sanjay Baweja, CFO, will be leaving the organization to pursue other opportunities. Tata Communications is currently seeking chief financial officer candidates and intends to complete its search in the near future.”
Baweja will be serving the company till 3 November, 2014. As the CFO of the company he was responsible for handling financial reporting and compliance, treasury and fund management, financial planning and analysis, management assurance, taxation and procurement. Before joining Tata Communications he worked with Emaar MGF as the executive president. Moreover, he also held key positions in the companies like Bharti Airtel, Xerox Modicorp, Digital Equipment and Ballarpur Industries.
The company further stated, “Baweja’s exit from the business is on positive terms. The company appreciates the tremendous work ethic and professionalism exhibited by him over the last five years and wishes him nothing but success in his future endeavours.”
