Tata Communications set to expand its data centre initiatives
Tata Communications has inaugurated its 44th data center in New Delhi; with this the company has become one of the leading companies in data center business in India. The company has also planned to invest more than $200 million in doubling this capacity in India from 500,000 sq. ft to 1000,000 sq. ft in the time span of three years. These data centres of the company will provide a complete range of configuration choices ranging from shared rack space, full cabinets and cage space co-location to unlimited scalability in the future. Moreover, they are also designed to offer excellent performance and will reduce the total cost by effective utilisation of resources.

The company is also planning to expand and is aiming for establishing its foothold in the global data center sector. Recently, the company has joined force with NECTDC in Australia, Interxion in Germany and Austria and Link Telecom in Malaysia. These strategic steps will help the company to extend its data centre initiatives in these regions.
