Tech Mahindra Announces Merger with Mahindra Engineering Services

Tech Mahindra Limited aka Tech Mahindra and Mahindra Engineering Services have announced their merger. The Board of Directors of both the organizations has approved the proposal to merge the companies.

Also known as MES, Mahindra Engineering Services Limited is a global engineering consultant catering to Automotive, Aerospace, Defense and Manufacturing industries.

The merger is a step taken to boost the engineering prowess and to create prominent players offering engineering services from India with strengths in Aerospace and Automotive verticals.

Speaking on the merger, Mr. Karthikeyan Natarajan, Global Head – Integrated Engineering Services, Tech Mahindra, said that “Mahindra Engineering Services (MES) and Tech Mahindra’s Integrated Engineering Services (IES) merger strengthens the existing services portfolio, enhances presence in US and Germany, provides scale and brings in new clients for further expansion.”

Mr. Prashant Kamat, CEO, MES averred “This merger is a big leap for us towards addressing growing business demands.  Our joint go-to-market strategy will help us capture newer markets and enhance our service portfolio especially in Aerospace and Embedded services segments while bringing value to all our stakeholders.”
