Tektronix has hired Susanne Schmitz as the new sales manager for the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region.
In this role, Schmitz will work closely with the Tektronix sales organization and distribution partners in the DACH region.
Her passion for working with customers is particularly important to Schmitz.

In this role, she will serve the semiconductor, higher education, research, data center, computing, consumer, telecommunications, and automotive industries, helping utility, wired, and wireless customers bring their innovative products to market bring.
Most recently, Schmitz was European sales manager for the radiography systems division at Baker Hughes. Thanks to her ability to adapt quickly, she successfully led a team of 35 sales and applications engineers through the COVID-19 pandemic.
She began her career at Kodak as an international sales and service representative and quickly rose to many different positions within Kodak’s Health Imaging division, Carestream. While working as a product manager, Schmitz lived in Rochester, New York, USA.
Back in Germany, Schmitz led the sales and service team at Philips Healthcare and the DACH marketing team at Philips Lighting before joining Baker Hughes.
Maria Heriz, Vice President Commercial Organization Europe, Middle East, Africa and India at Tektronix, welcome Schmitz to the Tektronix team as head of sales activities in the DACH region.
Schmitz has a degree in business administration from HES Amsterdam and FH Dortmund. Her mother tongues are German and Spanish and she is fluent in English.
