With netizens inclining more onto the video content, Telenor India has brought unlimited music and video streaming for just Rs 2. The jaw-dropping pricing will enable subscribers to enjoy unlimited access to videos from sites like Hungama Music & Eros Now.
“At Telenor, we understand that entertainment is one of the primary drivers of Internet traffic in India. Today almost 60% of data users access entertainment applications on their mobile. As digital services company, we want our customers to download and watch videos or listen to music in a hassle-free manner said Amaresh Kumar, Chief Product Officer, Telenor India at the event.”
To avail the service, Telenor customers can select the video packs starting from Rs 2 to Rs 28 with validity ranging from one day to 28 days. Subscribers can use the new service pack to temporarily cache their favourite online video overnight (11 PM to 7 AM) and enjoy the buffer-free experience during periods of low or no connectivity. To prevent any bill shock if the caching continues after 7 AM, the customers will be charged at 2p/20 KB with a cap of Rs 5 for that day.
Exciting music packs offering unlimited access to music will cost one Rs 41 with a validity of 28 days.

Over 32% of Internet traffic comes from music, and 34% of those accessing online music do it on their mobile phones. “Research shows that almost 40% of users watch videos at night as the networks are relatively free and speeds are better. With the new packs, customers can download videos during the night and watch it anytime & anywhere,” added Amaresh.
