Texas Instruments India cordially announces the 12th edition of its prestigious Science and Technology Quiz 2015 in Delhi at Shri Satya Sai International Center on November 19. In strive to stimulate the young minds –This year Texas Instruments (TI) hosts this quiz nationally for students from class 8, 9 and 10. This year the quiz includes two new cities within the fold of the competition and will be held across seven cities – Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Lucknow, leading to a finale in Bangalore.
“Texas Instruments believes in continuous learning. With the objective of encouraging adoption of a multi-dimensional approach to learning, the students through this quiz are challenged on their knowledge related to the various dimensions of science and technology. This quiz marks TI’s commitment towards cultivating a spirit of curiosity and innovation amongst school children, whom we look at as future technology pioneers and who will contribute to the development of the country as a knowledge economy,” said Santhosh Kumar, President and Managing Director, Texas Instruments India.
This quiz is known to yield a platform to these bright and young students to help them develop an innovative mindset by exploring STEM as a course of life. Hitherto known as the Jack Kilby Quiz, it was first launched in 2003 as an endeavor to create opportunities for young talent and promote education in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in India.
The TI Science & Technology Quiz, started in 2003 in Bangalore and now in its 12th edition, aims to carry forward the abundant tradition of innovation that has been a hallmark of the company.
The national and regional winning teams will take home attractive prizes including Laptops, Tablets, Kindles and more.
