The Sauber F1 Team, NetApp Partners for the Fourth Consecutive Year

NetApp, Sauber after a three successful year run, the companies announces strategic extension of their partnership. This year both the companies reach to their consecutive fourth year of alliance with Sauber F1 Team played instrumental as a Technical Partner.

This year, NetApp provided the Sauber F1 Team with an upgrade to a system of the FAS8000 series, which delivers significantly higher performance and an increased storage capacity.

NetApp provides the Sauber F1 Team a reliable, flexible and unified storage infrastructure for all IT services involving engineering, business and administration at its headquarter in Hinwil, as well during the Formula One weekends around the globe.

Talking on the extensive alliance, Monisha Kaltenborn, Team Principal, Sauber F1 Team said, “The Sauber F1 Team and NetApp – a perfect match. Both companies stand for efficiency, productivity and optimisation. Since the start of our partnership we have greatly benefitted from NetApp storage and data management systems.
