TRENDnet TPE-224WS 24 Port Web Smart PoE Switch Unveiled
TRENDnet has revealed a new 24-port web smart PoE switch, dubbed as TPE-224WS. The new smart PoE switch from TRENDnet comes with 4 gigabit ports and 2 shared mini-GBIC slots that offer a 12.8 Gbps switching capacity with PoE technology.
Further, it features broadcast storm control and port trunking feature with which, the device is capable to offer a cost effective and secure reliance as PoE switch solution for SME networks.
Besides, it comes with SNMP support with which, the switch can administer valuable status and event information. Further, it can access the web browser management interface and segment up to 256 LANs.
Other features of the product include front panel diagonistic LEDs, easy configuration via web browser, auto-recognition of PoE powered device signatire support, etc.
Briefing about the product, Mr. Atul Jain, Country Manager, TRENDnet India said that “TRENDnet TPE-224WS is a high end PoE Switch. Its 12.8 Gbps switching capacity makes it unmatchable in its category.”
He further told that“It get’s configured easily through web browser and supports 128K bytes RAM for data buffering. TPE-224WS also has over current protection and short circuit protection which makes it more reliable for usage.”
