Uninor appoints Rituraj Kalita as circle business head for Gujarat


Uninor has announced the appointment of Rituraj Kalita as the circle business head for Gujarat. He will be replacing Jinesh Hegde, who will be working as the circle business head for UP east. Ritutaj is working with Uninor since 2009 and served CBH of Orissa. The appointments will come into effect from 1 December, 2014.

As report by the Times of India, speaking about the appointment, Morten Karlsen Sorby, CEO of Uninor, said, “At Uninor, we believe in providing careers for promising leaders and employees, and to continue to build a strong leadership pipeline for future. A key part of our talent strategy is to enable movements across Uninor to allow cross pollination of best practices and build a strong leadership pipeline. We are confident of Rituraj taking this new role as CBH of Gujarat. With his experience in Orissa and Telenor Myanmar, he along with his team will be able to strengthen the circle and continue to deliver strong performance. We are happy with Jinesh moving to UP (E) and thank him for his excellent contributions.”
