UST Global to support green initiatives of Green Protocol Committee

UST Global has announced its support to the green initiatives of the Green Protocol Committee of National Games. Shine Varghese the employee of the company will be participating as the Honorary Venue Coordinator – Green Protocol, National Games. The initiative will help to make the venues “zero waste areas” by adopting a slew of measures, including restriction on the use of disposable containers or packaging material (for food and drinks) inside the venue.

Speaking about the same, Alexander Varghese, Chief Administrative Officer, UST Global, said, “UST Global takes great pride and effort in supporting this initiative. We are aligned to the United Nations Global Impact recommendations in the area of environment. Till date, UST Global has been responsible for the planting of close to 8000 saplings. As early as 2007, we were ranked number 7 on the Top 20 Green IT Outsourcers Report by Brown & Wilson Group.”

The company will also be sending in additional USsociates (as employees of UST Global are called) to volunteer on the 14th of Feb 2015. UST Global is committed to transforming lives in and around the communities it operates in through technology, training and jobs.
