Wipro enters into strategic partnership with OpenLink

Wipro receives ‘Best Company to Work For’ title

Wipro the information technology company has entered into a global strategic consulting partnership with OpenLink, the firm associated with Transaction Lifecycle Management (TLM) software for the commodity, energy and financial services industries. Through this partnership the company will focus on the growth in the area of technological innovation as well as complement each other in terms of domain expertise. Wipro will provide the service of OpenLink to all its customers across the globe. Both the companies will work in the space of testing services, product upgrades and support services.

Commenting on the move of the company, Anand Padmanabhan, Chief Executive, Energy, Natural Resources & Utilities Business Unit, Wipro Limited said, “Wipro has a dedicated global Energy/Commodity Trading and Risk Management centre of excellence that will give the right impetus to this alliance for creating a scalable service delivery framework for customers.”

The companies will identify the co-development opportunities and will work in that direction. They will also leverage the opportunities in the arena analytics, dashboard, visualization, cloud, mobility.
