Xovis Analytics Expands at Newark Liberty Airport Terminal A

The $2.7 billion Terminal A revitalization project is part of an initiative to improve service levels at airports connecting the New York region with the world. When the full scope of the project is realized in the coming weeks, Xovis’ Passenger Flow Management System (PFMS) will be deployed at multiple Terminal A touchpoints, including security, check-in, gates and waypoint areas.

The expansive network is part of terminal operator Munich Airports New Jersey’s commitment to elevating the passenger experience at one of North America’s busiest airports. Florian Kast, Customer Experience Manager for the terminal operator Munich Airport New Jersey said, “We are beyond excited to work with Xovis in our new terminal. If you don’t measure the important performance factors, there is no way of telling if you have improved. This new system will help us operate a world-class terminal and provide a great customer experience in the New Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport.”

Florian Eggenschwiler, Xovis’ Chief Product Officer, said “Passenger expectations are changing, and Xovis is proud to work globally with airport operators that bring a customer-centric approach to the terminal. To be involved in such a vital revitalization project, one that encompasses so many of the industry’s broader ambitions is a challenge and an honor.”
